Pat loves anything spicy.

Hot sauce. Habaneros. Cajun Seasoning. Not necessarily in that order. 😉

In fact, there’s a pizza place in town that lets you customize your pizza crust. My husband will order his pizza with a Cajun seasoning blend sprinkled over the crust, while the girls and I play it safe and get a butter and Parmesan or a plain crust. Although I sneak a piece of his every single time because I love the Cajun spice!

Since Pat loves this spice blend, I always have it on hand. My recipe for homemade Cajun seasoning blend calls for some basic herbs and spices that most of you have in your pantry.

To Make This Cajun Seasoning Blend You will Need:

  • dried oregano
  • paprika

It’s as simple as measuring the spices into a container and giving them a stir. Store it in an air-tight container, I like doubling recipes and storing them in glass jars.
