It’s fall and that means Apple Cider Doughnuts! Like literally there is apple cider running through the veins of this superb doughnut recipe! Make these. Love these. And send me any extras!
I’m pretty certain about two things;
The Tiger’s winning the World Series…
And the fact that you’re pretty much gonna want to make these… like yesterday.
Spike with apple cider, these doughnuts are moist {there I go using that M-word again} and then drenched in a apple cider gooey-glaze and then if that’s not enough to sell you on it… you dip them in cinnamon sugar. Oh yes… I am serious.
Head on over to Tasty Kitchen and see my step-by-step tutorial of Aimee (Sugary Sweets) recipe for the most AMAZING Apple Cider Doughnuts!

A donut pan is on my Christmas list, and I better get one!
I hate using the M word but it’s SO HARD to not describe something that’s moist… in any other way! Wet? not dry? I’m stumped. Going to check these out now Laurie – they look incredible! And I need to dust my donut pan off, it’s been a few months!
Yeah I need to make this. Like now. Like I have to leave work and do an emergency grocery shopping and make it.
i love your photos. and these doughnuts look fabulous!!
These doughnuts are calling my name 🙂
We baked some of these in mini muffin pans as “puffs”. When they came out of the oven we dipped them in melted butter and rolles them in cinnamon sugar. My 4 1/2 year old grandaughter helped make these and said”Yum, these are delicious!” She likes to bake but often does not eat much of the product…. a bite or two. She ate 2 donut holes.
That’s awesome! Glad you liked them!
This is a very good and easy baked donut recipe. Any time I can avoid frying donuts and stinking up the house with the grease smell, I jump at the chance. They have a wonderful spice cake flavor but don’t really have a strong apple taste. I did make a second batch and added some caramelized apples to the batter and the glaze and it was phenomenal. I live at a higher altitude in an extremely dry climate, so I had to add a couple tablespoons of flour and then up my baking heat to 350F and the time to about 13 to 14 minutes.
