This creamy Greek Yogurt Caesar Dressing is made lighter and healthier! Greek yogurt with a touch of mayonnaise plus my homemade caesar dressing mix are blended together for a super quick and flavorful salad dressing. Yields 1 cup in minutes.
You guys! I made the easiest, LIGHTEST and super creamiest greek yogurt caesar dressing.
It was the lick-the-salad-plate kind of good. Which as well all know, is the purest sign that something is delicious.
Since starting my healthy diet plan last fall, I’ve switched over to mostly yogurt based dressings because, typically yogurt based dressings are high in protein while being lower in fat and calories. After trying a few store bought versions that were just okay, I decided I need to make my own. In January, I shared my greek yogurt ranch and I’ve been working on making a caesar version ever since.
In the summer we eat grilled chicken Caesar salads quite a bit. So it was imperative I have a quick and easy, go-to recipe. My tip? Is always keep a container of this caesar dressing seasoning in my fridge. One batch of that makes enough for 4 (1 cup) dressings! It’s truly a time savor.
Making this creamy and dreamy dressing is as simple as whisking yogurt, mayo, lemon juice and the seasoning mix. All you need is 5 minutes. If that.
Here’s what you need TO make this Greek Yogurt Caesar Dressing:
- 1/2 cup plain, nonfat greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (use your favorite)
- the juice of 1/2 a lemon – about 2 tablespoons
- 1/4 cup Caesar Salad Dressing Mix
- kosher salt
First, in a medium bowl, measure and add the yogurt, mayo, lemon juice and Caesar salad seasoning mix.
Next, using a whisk, mix until combined. If you love a thick caesar dressing you can season with a couple pinches of kosher salt and serve as is. Otherwise, thin the dressing out with a few tablespoons of water.
Lastly, refrigerate until ready to serve.

THANK YOU in advance for your support!
I’ll give this a try, though I’m not a big fan of the tartness of yogurt. I’m curious to see how it compares to your homemade Caesar dressing, which is my “go to” and keep in the fridge pretty much at all times.
Hi Beth! The mayo will round that yogurt tanginess out. Enjoy!
I made the mix and dressing last night, it was wonderful!!! I tagged you in an Instagram post.
Hi Jaimie! I didn’t get a notification on IG 🙁 But I’m so glad you gave these a try! Thank you for taking the time to not only make both of these recipes but also leave a review too, I appreciate you!
What can be used in place of mayo?? Thanks!
Hi Shana! You could try avocado (about 1/4 of a medium) and know that the dressing will be light green or vegan mayonnaise. I haven’t tested either of these out, but I think they would work great. Please keep me posted on what worked for you!
How long will this last in the fridge??
Hi Neri! At least a week! Enjoy!
I would like to purchase the ceasar dry mix. Please tell me where to get some.
