Brown Butter

Brown Butter is magical! By slowly browning milk solids in butter the result is a nutty flavorful butter. Use in sweet or savory recipes!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

Instructions 

  • Add butter to a stainless or nonstick skillet. Darn skillets are NOT ideal as it's hard to tell if the butter is browning.
  • Heat over medium, stirring often. It will bubble and foam.
  • Remove the skillet off of the heat once it turns a deep golden brown.
