What makes pico de Gallo different from jarred salsa is freshness. Nothing is cooked beforehand, every ingredient is fresh. Fresh tomatoes, onion, cilantro…everything. Also, every single ingredient is diced small, so it can fit on a chip or in your taco. Once tossed together in a bowl and ready for topping your tacos, nachos, taquitos and fajitas.

To Make This Quick Pico de Gallo You will need:
- roma tomatoes
- white onion
- lime juice
Finely dice 4 to 6 roma tomatoes, 1 small white onion and finely mince 1 medium jalapeño (seeded), 1 clove of garlic a small handful of cilantro.
Season with a pinch or two of kosher salt.
Lastly, squeeze in the juice of 1/2 a large lime.
Toss to combine!
This quick pico is simple, fresh and so flavorful.
Serve this next to a bowl of guacamole for the ultimate chip and dinner sitch.
Quick Pico de Gallo
- 6 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced small
- 1 small white onion, diced small
- 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and finely diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 cilantro, minced
- kosher salt, to taste
- 1/2 large lime, juiced
- In a mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, garlic, cilantro and season with salt to taste.
- Squeeze in the juice of a lime and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
