Ingredients

  • olive oil spray
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal optional
  • 1 recipe greek yogurt pizza dough
  • 1 recipe pizza sauce
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese freshly shredded
  • 20 pepperonis
  • 4 teaspoons Parmesan cheese grated, for serving and optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil for serving and optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 475℉ (or 245℃).
  • Invert a large rimmed baking sheet. Spray with olive oil and sprinkle with a couple pinches of cornmeal.
  • Make and shape the dough into a balll. On a generously floured surface, cut into 4 equal pieces (wedges).
  • Flour a rolling pin and working with one piece at a time, roll the dough into a flat triangle. Use a knife to create a notch in the top. Shape into a heart and transfer to the prepared pan. Repeat with remaining dough.
  • Spread a couple spoonfuls of the sauce onto each pizza, leaving an edge. Top with mozzarella and pepperonis.
  • I spray them with olive oil one more time, but is optional.
  • Bake on the bottom rack of your oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the crust is golden brown.
  • Once baked, sprinkle with a little parmesan and chopped fresh basil.
