Ingredients

  • 5 large avocados ripe (not mushy) halved and pit removed
  • 1 medium lime juice
  • 1/2 medium red onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves minced
  • kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add avocado halves, lime juice, red onion, garlic, cilantro and salt.
  • Use a potato masher to mash all the ingredients together. If you prefer a chunky gucamole, don't over mash. Taste and add more salt or lime juice as needed.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
