This Homemade Thousand Island Dressing is easy, delicious and a fraction of the calories. In this creamy and tangy salad dressing; mayonnaise, greek yogurt and ketchup are combined with finely diced dill pickles, onion and thinned out with a little pickle juice. Use as spread on burgers and sandwiches or drizzle over your favorite salad or burger bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup full fat greek yogurt (I like oikos plain with 25g protein)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup homemade, regular or sugar free
  • 1/3 cup finely diced white or yellow onion
  • 1/3 cup finely diced dill pickles
  • 1 teaspoon white granulated sugar
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons dill pickle juice (brine)

Instructions

  • In a small to medium bowl, measure and add mayonnaise, greek yogurt, ketchup, onion, pickles and sugar. Mix to combine.
  • Add desired amount of pickle juice to thin the dressing to a desired consistency.
