Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat greek yogurt
  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder optional (1 serving is usually 2 scoops)
  • 18 tablespoons unsweetened vanilla macadamia nut milk (milkadamia) or milk of choice
  • cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 2 pinches ground turmeric

Instructions

  • To your highspeed blender, add yogurt, protein powder (if using), milk and frozen mango, pineapple, banana and ground turmeric.
  • Secure the lid and blend until combined and smooth. Scrape the sides and add a splash more milk if mixture is too thick and won't blend smoothly.
  • Divide among glasses and serve. If to thick, add a splash of milk or as needed.

Notes

Tips For Making Smoothies:
  • freeze fresh fruit on a parchment lined, rimmed sheet pan over night and store in a freezer safe container.
  • frozen fruit is best for a creamy and icy smoothie.
  • avoid using ice cubes as it causes separation in the smoothie once the ice melts.
  • plain non fat Greek yogurt is great in smoothies as it lends to the creaminess without adding fat and a ton of calories
