FOR THE DOUGHNUTS:
2cupsunbleached all-purpose flour
3/4cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspoonfine salt
1/4teaspoonsnutmeg
1/4teaspoonallspice
1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
1/2cupapple cider
1/4cupunsweetened applesauce
2largeeggs
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
FOR THE GLAZE:
1¼cupspowdered sugar
1/4teaspoonallspice
1 to 2tablespoonsapple cidermore or less, for thinning glaze

Instructions
MAKE THE DOUGHNUTS:
Lightly grease doughnut pans and preheat your oven to 325°.
In a mixing bowl, measure and add flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda, salt, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon. Whisk to combine.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs with apple cider, apple sauce and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients.
Whisk until just combined.
Divide dough among pans and bake 10 minutes or until they spring back when gently pressed.
Remove and let cool slightly before dipping in the glaze and then cinnamon sugar.
MAKE THE GLAZE:
Combine powdered sugar with allspice and whisk in 1 to 2 tablespoons apple cider. Until smooth.
