Air Fryer Falafel is jammed packed with healthy, wholesome goodness and so much flavor. Finely minced red onion, garlic, parsley and mint is blended with chickpeas. After rolling into balls, they get air fried until crisp and golden brown on the outside and tender on the inside.

In the bowl of your food processor (fitted with the blade attachment) add onion, parsley, mint and garlic. Secure the lid and process until finely chopped.
Add in garbanzo beans and pulse until finely ground You do NOT want the mixture to be smooth.
Transfer the bean mixture to a mixing bowl. Measure and add flour, salt, cumin, coriander, white pepper and turmeric. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
Using a 1-1/2 tablepsoon scoop, meausre out the falafel mixture and roll into balls. Repeat with the remaining falafel mixture. Chill until ready to air fry.
Preheat your air fryer to 350℉ (180℃).
Once preheated, spray the basket with olive oil spray and add in the falafel balls. You may need to work in batches if your air fryer is on the smaller side.
Air frye for 15 mintues or until just starting to get golden. Use tongs to turn each falafel and continue air frying for 3 to 5 more mintues.
Remove and serve in warm pita pockets, on a salad or in a bowl with lettuce, hummus, veggies and pita
