Halloween Candy Cookie Bars
Got lots of Halloween Candy laying around? Make these super fun Halloween Candy Cookie Bars! Homemade cookie dough mixed with chocolate and peanut butter candies are first baked and then pressed with all the best goodies and spooky eyes!

USA Pan Bakeware Rectangular Cake Pan
unbleached all-purpose flour
dark brown sugar
real vanilla extract
leftover halloween candy*
Preheat your oven to 350°. Line a 9x13x2 baking pan with parchemnt and spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, measure and add flour, baking soda and salt. Stir and set off to the side.
Then, in the bowl of your stand mixer add; butter and both sugars. Mix on medium speed until creamy.
Add in one egg at a time, mixing well after each one. Add the vanilla with the last egg.
Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl before adding half of the flour mixture. Mix until just combined before adding the rest. Scrape down the sides and the bottom of the bowl one last time.
Add in the Reese's and M&M's, usuing a rubber spatula to incorporate.
Add dough to the prepare pan. With lightly greased fingers, press the dough into the pan.*
Bake on the middle rack for 18 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile prep any candy by breaking apart or cutting in half.
Once baked, immediately press the candy pieces into the top of the cookie bars. Allow to cool completely before cutting and serving.
*use your favorite chocolate halloween candy like: Reese's peanut butter cups, Hershey bars (any), Twix bars, Snickers (chopped), Butterfinger (chopped) etc.
