Roasted Cabbage Steaks make for an excellent side dish to steak, chicken or your St. Patrick's Day corned beef. Cabbage is sliced, seasoned and roasted until caramelized. Serves 4 to 6 in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients
1mediumgreen cabbage
olive oilor olive oil spray
2pincheskosher salt
black pepperfreshly ground
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400℉ (or 200℃).
Remove any tough outer leaves from the cabbage before slicing into 1/2-inch thick cabbage steaks.
Brush or spray a rimmed, metal baking sheet with olive oil.
Arrange the cabbage steaks and brush or spray the exposed side of the cabbage and season with salt, pepper and any other spices desired.
Roast on the middle rack of your preheated oven for 20 to 25 (more or less depending on the sized and thickness of your cabbage).
