Ingredients

  • 2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons red wine one you like to drink
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400.
  • In an oven-safe baking dish combine the blueberries, sugar, salt, wine, vanilla and a pinch of kosher salt.
  • Stir and then pop the blueberries into the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Pull them out halfway and give them a careful stir.
  • Once the twenty minutes are up, remove and smash {if you want} the berries with a spoon. Let cool a tad before pouring over your favorite dessert or a stack of pancakes!
