Ingredients
1/2cupunsalted buttersoftened
1/2cuplight brown sugarlightly packed
1/4cupgranulated sugar
1largeegg
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1¼cupunbleached all-purpose flour
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/4teaspoonbaking soda
1cupmini chocolate chipsmilk, semi-sweet or dark
Instructions
Line a rimmed baking pan and preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
In a bowl blend the stick of butter until creamy and light yellow. Add in the sugars and blend.
Add in the one egg and teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and blend on low until combined.
Next, add in the flour, salt and baking soda and mix just until combined.
Lastly, add the cup of chocolate chips and blend by hand with a spatula.
Measure a rounded teaspoon of cookie dough and place an inch apart on the prepared pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes in your preheated or until the edges are golden.
Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
