Everything Seasoning

Imagine having homemade everything seasoning at your fingertips! Sprinkle it on buttered rolls before baking, on slices of avocado toast, basically in or on whatever you want to everything!

First, I blame everything bagels for my obsession.

I’m not one to make a bagel for breakfast — as a snack, maybe. But for breakfast, not really. Give me a fried egg with it’s runny yolk cascading over toast or a bowl of oatmeal any day. But if I am having a bagel, I’ll take a toasted everything bagel with chive and onion cream cheese any day. It so happens tat the everything bagel was what started my love for all things everything.

I’ve everything-ed pita triangles for dipping in hummus, fried eggs, French fries and I’ve brushed dinner rolls and take-and-bake bread with butter and then sprinkled this everything seasoning on top just before baking. Everything avocado toast– totally a thing (scroll to the bottom to see!).

I’ve even everything-ed popcorn. SO good!

So I think it’s pretty safe to say that I love my everything seasoning.

Essentially, everything seasoning is a mixture of dehydrated garlic, onion with sesame seeds and poppy seeds and is one of my favorites. I like to use a mixture of black and white sesame seeds, for contrast with the blue poppy seeds and golden dried garlic and white onion. If you can’t find black sesame seeds at your local store, you can either get them online [affiliate] or just swap for regular sesame seeds.

Make a batch and have it on hand for whenever the mood strikes to everything something.

Enjoy!

And do let me know what you like to everything and then we can compare notes. 😉
