I hope you don’t think this is weird, but who wants my old canisters??
If you are following me on facebook then you saw that I had a little shopping spree at Pier 1 over the weekend. Like twice. I haven’t been to that store in forever and when I walked in I was a kid in a candy store. I bought dishes, napkins, platters and some fun foodie props… but what I was most excited about was these little beauts.

I first saw these speckled jars on last Friday night. I couldn’t stop thinking about them, so I then went back as soon as the doors reopened on Saturday and scooped them up! I love their vibe, the textured speckles, wooden tops and knobs. They’re big and heavy… so yeah… pretty much everything about them is freakin’ awesome!
So while I was still at the store, Pat says to me “SOooo what about your other ones?” And I jokingly said “I’ll just give them away to someone” Then the fog horn went off and I thought about giving them to one of you! I’ve gotten a lot of complements on them and emails asking where did I find them etc. And although they’re from Target and only cost me around 20 bucks, they’re still pretty darn awesome and in great condition {no dents or dings!}

They’ve been around my kitchen for a couple years now and made their appearance here on SS and even on Tasty Kitchen a time or two. And I’m hoping you don’t think this is crazy-weird of me to ask, but if there’s someone out there that wants them I’ll happily ship them to you!
I guess this is a give-away of some sorts. So just leave a comment saying you’ll take’em and I’ll pick a random winner and announce it on Friday {March 30th}, and once I have your address I can ship them out to you the following week!
Happy Tuesday and I hope to see a bunch of comments below, or else I’m gonna feel like a giant loser. No pressure. Xo
THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

I love your canisters! I love the new ones, too, AND I
I gave up on a canister search…I'm apparently very picky. I have to have something that has an opening big enough for a 1 cup measuring cup. And apparently canister makers don't care about that? But yours look to be the right size, so I'd take them!
I'll take them. I'm using ziplock bags and plastic tubs right now. These are lovely.
Thanks so much!
I would love them! So Cute!

I'm the biggest fan of the ones you keep your flour and other powders in, with the see through pee-a-boo on the side. If I don't get them… what were they called where you bought them at target? I'll probably have to find them online!
-Laura <3

I tried to enter yesterday, but I don't see my comment…so I'm trying again!
These canisters are too cute and being that I don't have any right now, these would be awesome in my kitchen!!!
I'd take them!! My current canisters were a wedding present that we registered for… but the mouth openings are too small to fit the measuring cups into! I end up making a mess every time I cook and usually end up with more flour and sugar on the counter than in my cup.
I would love the upgrade to these adorable canisters.
- Abby
I'd take them!! They are adorable and I love the bright colors of them.
Not to mention, I would love to have canisters that my measuring cups can actually fit inside of!

Sharing the baking love from your kitchen to another's kitchen. What a brilliant idea! They must have given you tons of joy to want to pass that on to someone else. So, please put my name into the hat for a lovely chance to win your loved containers.

Hi Laurie,
A message all the way from The Netherlands (Europe) from one of your blogreaders. Love your blog about food and your funny way of writing about it. Our way of cooking and how we think about food is very similar.
About your canisters, after all the hard work these canisters have done for you in assisting your cooking they deserve a holiday, don’t they? A holiday
